SGS, an internationally recognized inspection, testing and certification organization, has issued ISO 26262:2018 ASIL D Automotive Functional Safety Process Certification to AUDIOWEL. This certificate signifies that AUDIOWELL has established a product development process system that complies with ASIL D, the highest level of functional safety, in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 26262:2018 standard, which strengthens the foundation for promoting the high-quality development of the intelligent automobile industry.
ISO 26262 -- ASIL
ISO 26262 is an authoritative international automotive functional safety standard, which is one of the entry thresholds for global electronic parts suppliers to enter the automotive industry. The standard covers the planning, design, implementation, integration, verification, validation, configuration and other aspects of functional safety requirements throughout the entire life cycle of the product.ASIL (Automotive Safety Integration Level) is a classification system based on the ISO 26262 standard, with a total of four grades: A, B, C and D. The higher the grade, the stricter the development process. The higher the level, the stricter the development process.
Under the guidance of SGS Automotive Functional Safety Center, AUDIOWEL has strictly practiced the requirements of ISO 26262:2018 standard, trained several functional safety professionals, and built up a project management and development team with the qualification of functional safety engineers. We have established a full chain of product development process system, including functional safety management, design, realization, verification and validation. Working closely with SGS experts, AUDIOWEL's functional safety team has completed hundreds of functional safety related documents, which will be continuously improved during the project implementation. It took only one year to successfully pass the audit and obtain the ASIL D process certification for automotive functional safety.
