Guangzhou, 17 October 2024, AUDIOWELL's CEO, Mr Shuguang Zhang, and ScioSense's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mr Vincent Pronk, announced that announced a joint ultrasonic flow metering solution based on Audiowell's revolutionary lead-free transducer and ScioSense's state-of-the-art ultrasonic flow converter(UFC) AS6040.This innovative solution is currently being demonstrated for the first time at Enlit Europe 2024 in Milan, Italy, and has been highly praised by many international metering companies.
Ultrasonic lead-free flow metering solution
The ultrasonic lead-free flow metering solution, which combines AUDIOWELL's self-developed lead-free piezoelectric ceramic flow sensors and ScioSense's top-of-the-line ultrasonic flow converter (UFC) AS6040, may bring a revolutionary breakthrough in the field of flow metering.
Among them, lead-free piezoelectric ceramic flow sensor is an environmentally friendly liquid media ultrasonic sensors based on new materials technology, its built-in piezoelectric ceramic using self-developed materials (lead-free elements), in line with the current international advanced environmental standards, to ensure that the liquid measurement of a more environmentally friendly, accurate sensing device.
The UFC in the solution utilizes a high-performance front-end to extract the ToF information, drive the sensors and process the received signals, the UFC's programmable gain amplifier handles the weaker received amplitude, and the phase modulation provides greater robustness to the system's first hit level detection.
Self-developed new material: lead-free
The core component of the solution - lead-free piezoelectric ceramic flow sensor adopts the new advanced ceramic material production technology to ensure that it does not contain the element of lead, and achieves a high degree of hermeticity, which provides a double guarantee for the sensor in terms of material selection and encapsulation process, and ensures that the product will not cause any contamination when it comes into contact with pure liquids, such as water.
High quality, meets international environmental regulations
Almost all commercially available piezoelectric ceramics contain lead and need to be tested for compliance with environmental regulations by virtue of lead exemptions. The sensors used in ultrasonic lead-free flow metering solutions are made of lead-free piezoelectric ceramics, which do not contain hazardous substances restricted by RoHS and are compliant with international environmental regulations such as REACH, ensuring their safety and reliability in water quality monitoring and treatment processes.
Fast Response, high accuracy measurement
Lead-free piezoelectric ceramic flow sensor detects the flow rate through ultrasonic measurement technology, so as to derive the flow rate, thus the ultrasonic measurement programme applying this product does not require other moving parts, does not generate eddy currents during the measurement, does not affect the flow rate and direction of fluid movement, etc., and has a low pressure loss, resulting in more accurate results. Combined with UFC's high resolution and fast response time, the solution can provide more accurate flow data to meet the needs of all types of high-precision liquid measurement.
Weather resistant and highly reliable
AUDIOWELL lead-free piezoelectric ceramic flow sensor in the research and development process through a number of reliability verification, stringent testing procedures, it is -20 ℃ low temperature, 90 ℃ high temperature environment, and even 4.8 MPa high pressure stability test and vibration and other extreme conditions still maintain good performance, so as to ensure that the lead-free ceramic flow sensor as the core of the measurement solution, to be able to work in high temperature, High pressure, vibration and other extreme environments.
Easy to integrate and cost-effective
The ultrasonic lead-free flow metering solution is highly integrated and can be applied to all types of monitoring systems or automated control systems without complex modifications. The sensors used in the solution are weather resistant and highly reliable, effectively reducing maintenance costs, and combined with the UFC's high-efficiency drive, it can help to reduce overall operating costs.
Ultrasonic lead-free flow metering solution is on display at Enlit Europe 2024 and are welcome to visit the show, see below for more information:
