The carbon dioxide sensor independently developed by AUDIOWELL is based on the principle of non-spectral infrared absorption and is capable of outputting analog signals in the form of PVM and digital signals in the form of UART serial interface, which is suitable for intelligent air measurement and purification systems with different types of interface applications.
The carbon dioxide sensor works on the principle that infrared light of a defined intensity and wavelength shines into the air and is absorbed by the carbon dioxide in the air, and the receiver tube outputs a corresponding electrical signal by detecting the intensity of the absorbed infrared light. The receiver tube detects the intensity of the absorbed infrared light and outputs the corresponding electrical signal. The sensor internally filters and amplifies the electrical signal, and the MCU calculates the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air through an algorithm.
