As a famous domestic automotive electronic sensor enterprise, Audiowell was invited to participate in the 2016 "Artificial Intelligence - Driving" industry seminar hosted by CITIC Securities, where high-quality automotive electronic enterprises, industry experts, and high-end investors gathered in Beijing to discuss the development prospects of the industry.
In a cycle of a century, assisted driving, intelligent driving, unmanned driving has quietly emerged, the development of ADAS, the definition of the definition is gradually clear, these were in the science fiction works of high-tech is close at hand. During the seminar, high-quality enterprises, industry experts and high-end investors had an in-depth discussion on the structure of ADAS system, and had a lively discussion on the topics of multi-sensor fusion, cost reduction of LiDAR, millimeter wave radar technology breakthrough, and ultrasonic sensor application combination.
Audiowell proposed a multi-sensor fusion program for ADAS system and released the first new product of 2016: automatic parking sensor. The automatic parking sensor is mainly applied to ADAS subsystem automatic parking/assisted parking, which consists of 12 ultrasonic sensors, 4 installed at the front and rear of the vehicle, and 2 installed on each side of the vehicle. When the car is moving, the ultrasonic sensors (APA) located at the side of the vehicle scan the two sides of the car sideways, mapping out the parking space, and signaling the signal outputs, and the front and rear ultrasonic sensors (UPA) cooperate with the The parking system enters the automatic parking mode. This application has been popularized with low cost advantage and has entered the economy car market, and will become a standard feature of automobiles in the future.
APA Ultrasonic Sensor
Using ultrasonic measurement of the distance between the car and the obstacle, so as to obtain the width and depth of the parking space, as well as the relative position of the vehicle and other information, is the core component of the automatic parking assistance system, the measurement range of up to 30cm-500cm.
UPA Ultrasonic Sensor
It is the core component of reversing radar, utilizing ultrasonic waves to measure the distance between the vehicle and the obstacles in front and behind, with a measuring range of 15cm-250cm.
At present, the ultrasonic sensors researched by Audiowell have fully entered the application of automatic parking, blind zone detection and other sub-systems in the ADAS system. In the future, Audiowell will be committed to becoming a major global supplier of sensors (position, distance, speed) and their application solutions, and invest more focused and professional research in the distance measurement of the ADAS system, such as digital sensors, millimeter-wave radar, etc., in order to further broaden the application research of sensor technology in the automotive electronics, and to use the transmission technology to measure the distance between the vehicle and the obstacles in the front and rear. We will further broaden the application research of sensor technology in automotive electronics, and create a smart life with sensing technology.
